- * Rcopy 3.0, PowerCalc 1.0 and ModemHunt 2!) *
- * *
- * Finally, we'd like to mention HOW TO BUY STatus. You can purchase a single *
- * issue (you'll recieve the December 1989 issue NOT the October one) for $7.50*
- * or you can subscribe for six (6) months for $20, or one year (12 months) for*
- * $30 (a 33% savings, and only $5 and issue!). You can order by sending a *
- * check or money order payable to STatus Software to the following address: *
- * *
- * STatus Disk Magazine *
- * Suite 299 *
- * 4431 Lehigh Road *
- * College Park, MD 20740 *
- * *
- * P.S. We also want to let user groups get a great bargain! Drop us a letter!*
- * and we'll help you get STatus at a special bargain rate. You can even use *
- * STatus to raise funds for your own usergroup, since we can offer it to user *
- * groups in bulk for much less than we can individual users. The usergroup *
- * can then, at its own discretion, sell STatus at a slightly higher price to *
- * raise money. We acknowledge that without usergroup support we will not be *
- * as accepted as the print magazines, and if you have any questions, contact *
- * us at the address above. *
- * *
- * *
- * STatus Disk Magazine (c) 1989, is a COMMERCIAL effort. *
- * Oh yeah, Hi to Dan Panke at ST-Plug! He has a great newsletter! *

- Mail Call: STatus Disk Magazine
-
-
- We want your opinions, articles, submissions, anything.
-
- Do you hate Atari? Do you love Atari? Do you secretly want
- to buy an Amiga, but you're afraid we will hunt you down and kill
- you? Or do you think that every other computer out there is just
- a sorry piece of trash, and that the ST will rule the world of
- computing?
-
- Whatever your opinions, we at STatus would like to hear them.
- We will "publish" ANY opinion. We also want our readers to know
- that the opinions will only be those expressed by the person
- writing the article, as are the ones in this issue.
-
- Do you disagree with us on a review? Send in a rebuttal.
- Let us know what you want to read. What you think. We want to
- help make this magazine different not only in that we are spread
- on a different media, but with a different purpose from all the
- other Atari magazines.
-
- We started this because we wanted to express our own views on
- the complicated duality of Atari Corporation and the joy and pains
- of owning an Atari ST. We wanted to spread what we knew and find
- out what you know so that everyone in the ST userbase won't be
- languishing in a stupor about what is happening in the world of
- the ST.
-
- This mail column will be dedicated to the personal views of
- the readers. Personal attacks, libel and unfounded rumours will
- not be published here. We are a fledgling publication and do not
- desire to have ourselves embroiled in lawsuits at this time!
-
- Also, right here and now, I'd like to ask everyone to send us
- your comments, good and bad, of how you like this issue and what
- future changes you would like to see.
